Gearing-Class FRAM II ex-DDR
Four Gearing-class ex-DDRs converted during the FRAM II modernization program of the 1960s.
The ex-DDR configuration is represented by the Chevalier (DD-805 with three twin 5-in. gun mounts, two triple MK 32 torpedo tube mounts, two single MK 24torpedo tube mounts, two MK 10/11 hedgehog mounts, tripod foremast with SPS-40 air search and SPS-10 surface search/navigational radars, ECM electronics mainmast, and SQS-4 sonar.
